Well one week to got before the shoot getting nevis about it but it shoot turn out well just need actors but got lots of comments back from gumtree hope to get one soon got most of my props and i hope to have storyboard done before wednesday.

also thinking about the barber and how he should look this is some of my ideas

As you can see from this photo he is wearing a white coat and black tie might take on the idea of the black tie but i might loose the coat. 

from this photo i can see that hairdressers are wearing a lot of black and bark clothes think it will be to car for my shot may go for a white shirt and black tie and trousers.

in this photo they are were more what i would like my actor to wear but i think it needs to be more plane for my shoot.

hey was just thinking about building tench an with out actual running a blade over my actors throat haha so had a look at psycho and the shower scene there is great fast passed editing that would work well for my scene before the barber pretends to cut his throat.

dale just to let u no for all of the close up could u get the background out of focus in every show shot. 

I have been looking a cut throats razor just to see what types of ones there are I like the cut throat with the black handle because it has a nicer look to it.

Was just looking as steadicams think about making one if anyone nose a basic design for one would help a lot this is what I came up with.

I think this is what I need to make a basic steadicam.

Just thinking about the over all look of my film was thinking of making it look like Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels the reason for this is that it gives it more of a hard man feel with there use of colours.

I also like the use of mid shots to close ups without cutting between shots and zooming in on the camera. It gives a interesting effect when viewing the film.

ideas for opening scene

Thinking about the opening looking scene of my film to introduce what the character is like as it is the first time we see him. Had a look at GoodFellas like two scene thinking about using them Dale could you have a look at the way it is shot would like your input.

The Story

I am making a film set in a barber shop. The story starts in a small village were everyone knowns everyone and their business. The main character is known through out the town as a mean man and is always seen to be treating people badly. He then one day goes into a barber shop to get a hot towel shave. As he goes into the barbers there is a line but he proceeds past the line and sits in the chair and tells the barber he wants a shave. The barber then starts to put the hot towel on the man and then the shaving foam. However when it comes to putting the hot water on the blade of the cutthroat he puts it on the handle instead of the blade. Then he walks up to the the man and runs the handle over his neck as he does this the man get out of the chair as fast as he can and runs down the street shouting "he has cut my throat he has cut my throat".
